THE unbeaten run of Windsor & Eton continued with a goalless draw at Paulton Rovers on Saturday.

Neither side did enough to win the game in a tight affair of limited chances but the visitors did hit the post late on.

"I happy with the point," remarked manager Keith Scott. "But as a group we get very disappointed if we don't win games.

"If you look at the away games we'be had, first one at Cinderford we won, then a 0-0 draw at Gosport midweek and the same at Paulton. From that point of view, there are good results. two of the three sides, Gosport and Paulton I believe will finish in the top eight.

"It wasn't a great game, both teams cancelled each other out, I'm disappointed not to win as we hit the post late on but neither side did enough to win or deserved to lose."

In a bright start by the Royalists, Andrew Fagan and Steve Butler both had headers saved by Luke Purnell from Bruce Wilson free-kicks but the hosts nearly scored in the dying moments of the first half when Charlie Rich had an effort go just wide.

Neikell Plummer was denied by Rob Bullivant but it was the visitors who closest to taking all three points when Scott Thomas smashed the post from outside the area late on.
