THE perfect start was made to their under-13 campaign as Windsor Royals won their four team 11-a-side tournament.

A draw against Bourne End was followed up by a 2-0 win against Bucks CC with goals from JC Etienne and Aaron Fetherston and a 1-0 triumph over Laurel Park thanks to James Tann.

Windsor finished top of the group and then beat Laurel Park in a dramatic penalty shootout with Oliver Short proving to be the hero - saving three efforts from the spot and Tann and Etienne converted to give the Royals the win.

Lucas Benge, James Harding and Alex Park also impressed in the tournament for Windsor.
