Maidenhead United boss Johnson Hippolyte has been busy over the Christmas period shuffling his squad.

New signing Nevin Saroya made his debut for the Magpies on Boxing Day, ironically at the home of his previous club Hayes & Yeading United.

The 28-year-old centre back, who had been getting some match practice at Godalming Town following his release from Church Road, came in for the injured Pat Sappleton.

Saroya began his career at Brentford, moving onto Hampton and Grays before arriving at Yeading. He was club captain of the merged Hayes & Yeading United from its founding up to his departure.

In other dealings, Tom Baddeley returned from a loan spell at Bracknell Town and was handed a debut in the left back position at Bromley, retaining his place on Boxing Day.

The youngster proved the value of the senior experience he gained at Larges Lane with a good performance in the 4-0 win over the Ravens.

In addition, Grant Cooper will begin his recuperation from his shoulder injury with a loan spell at former club Bishops Stortford.

James Hamsher and Mustafa Tyriaki continue to get match practice at Godalming Town and Potters Bar Town respectively, whilst Gavin James made his third loan move of the season, joining former Magpies supremo Carl Taylor at Burnham. Finally, Manny Williams has returned to parent club Woking after his short loan spell.
