MAIDENHEAD United have seen their winless run stretch to eight matches after a 0-0 draw with Maidstone United on Saturday.

The goalless draw at York Road leaves United in 13th position in the National League table but without a win since October 24.

Maidenhead turn their attention to the Berks & Bucks Cup and a home second round tie against Southern Premier Division club Chesham United on Tuesday (7.45pm).

United are then away to National League rivals Woking in the FA Trophy first round proper this Saturday (3pm).

Windsor suffered a 3-1 defeat at home to Thatcham Town in the Hellenic Premier Division on Saturday.

A goal from Shane Cooper-Clark gave Thatcham the lead inside 10 minutes at Stag Meadow, before Barry Hayles levelled the scores after 28 minutes.

Thatcham regained the advantage thanks to a goal from Liam Ferdinand before the half-time interval, and secured the points when Cooper-Clark got his second of the match three minutes from time.

Windsor, who had player-coach Ashley Smith sent off in the defeat, are now in 11th position in the league table ahead of a trip to fourth-placed Wantage Town this Saturday (3pm).

The scheduled fixture away at Binfield on Monday was postponed due to adverse weather conditions.

Virginia Water remain second in Hellenic Division One East after a 2-1 win away at Chalfont Wasps on Saturday.

Lorenzo Di-Felice scored either side of the half-time interval to twice give The Waters the lead.
