WINDSOR extended their brilliant winning run in all competitions to eight matches after a 2-1 victory over Woodley United in the Hellenic Premier Division on Saturday.
Former professional striker Barry Hayles gave Windsor a lead inside eight minutes at Stag Meadow, but Toby Briggs equalised for Woodley five minutes after half-time.
The home side secured all three points thanks to a Luke Brooks-Smith penalty a minute into time added on to move up to eighth position in the league table.
Windsor turn their attention to the FA Vase and a second round proper tie away at Southern Counties East League Premier Division club Erith Town this Sunday (3pm).
Burnham suffered a third consecutive defeat in the Premier Division when losing 7-0 to Bracknell Town at The Gore on Saturday.
Goals from George Short, Seb Bowerman, Adam Cornell and TJ Bohane gave Bracknell a clear lead heading into the half-time interval.
Cornell scored twice more after the break to complete his hat-trick, before a second goal from Bohane put the high-flying visitors in seven heaven.
The defeat leaves Burnham second from bottom in the league table ahead of their trip to Woodley United on Monday (7.45pm).
The Blues then have a must-win game at home to bottom side Fairford Town this Saturday (3pm).
Virginia Water have recorded a third straight win in Hellenic Division One East following their 3-2 victory away at Wokingham & Emmbrook on Saturday.
The goals came from Di Felice and two from Adam McNamara.
