Windsor CC title hopes washed away
WINDSOR CC's chances of winning Thames Valley Cricket League Division 2A were dealt a cruel blow when rain forced an early abandonment of their top of the table clash with Marlow at Higginson Park on Saturday.
Batting first Marlow were 16-1 after eight overs before the heavens opened.

Burnham have been crowned champions of Home Counties Division Two West after a five wicket victory against Gerrards Cross at the Memorial Ground on Saturday.
The 25 point win, coupled with second placed Slough's abandoned match against Reading, means Shaid Nadeem's team have an unassailable 48 point lead with two fixtures remaining.
Gerrards Cross won the toss and chose to bat first with Dan Hampton (64) and Hamzah Taj (57*) helping them post a target of 163-2 off 40 overs.
However, Aftab Khan's 62 helped the champions-elect chase down the target inside 29 overs and for the loss of five wickets.
Slough were 100-2 after 31 overs at Sonning Lane when match was abandoned due to persistent rain, meaning Zaheer Sher's side could only take six points from the game.
Although they cannot win the Division, the battle for second place is still alive and Slough must beat Horspath (away) and Aston Rowant (home) to maintain the position come the end of the season.
Farnham Royal dropped one place to fourth after a winning draw against Aston Rowant at Church Road.
