"I used to play at Surrey and Hampshire second XI and got into coaching and do a lot of work at schools across Berkshire," explained Grice.

"I have just taken on the role of head coach at Windsor Cricket Club, from the under-nines through to senior.

"It's not just about the schools and clubs though, we want to get people in the area interested in cricket and develop those guys.

"We've got people involved from Berkshire County Cricket."

HG Cricket Development offer a wide range of coaching, to honing the skills of the more experienced players to getting youngsters involved and enjoying the game.

He said: "We have a variety of coaching, with the new cricketers we want to try to develop the enjoyment of the game and get them playing more.

"The more serious cricketers at clubs and from under-15s at schools we do a lot of one-to-one with them, improving their technique.

"We want to try to get them ready for first team league cricket, Minor Counties cricket and in some cases First Class cricket. We've had some to go on and play for Surrey."

He added: "It's going really well, we are preparing for the season, Easter is when the cricket courses kick-off and we can get outside."

Surrey captain Rory Hamilton-Brown commented: "HG Cricket development offer excellent prorammes for cricketers of all abilities.

"Their knowledge of the game and up-to-date coaching methods mean all cricketers will benefit from a coaching session."
