A RAMPANT Windsor side came roaring back to winning ways with an 82 run triumph over Chiswick & Latymer.

The Home Park side posted 225-6 thanks to Mark Huggins with a superb 85 before a rush of blood to the head thwarted a deserved ton and skipper Wes Nichols who made 70 not out and led from the front with a superb all-round display.

Chiswick were then blown away with the ball as Nichols took 5-22 with the visitors out for 143 with Tom Hartridge doing an excellent job in support, taking 3-21.

"We batted really well and had a good partnership between myself and Mark," remarked the captain. "Mark played very well but he must hate scoring hundreds, I was batting with him and told him you can get your hundred in singles but he decided otherwise and holed out. He's an extremely talented batsman but in th epast he has been a bit immature but his shot selection has been much better over the last year."

Nichols added: "The bowling was good, our spinners didn't get much out of it but the seamers did the business."
