AN IMPRESSIVE Nigel Levine powered to victory in the 400m at the Birmingham Indoor Grand Prix Meeting on Saturday.
The Windsor, Slough, Eton & Hounslow athlete led from the front as he dominated a class field to finish in a time of 46.17 seconds - an indoor lifetime best and the fastest in Europe this year in the indoor season.
Levine's time also secured the qualifying standard for the European Indoor Championships in Paris.
"It was amazing," stated Levine. "I went out and tried my best and I saw that coming.
"I came here feeling really positive and there's definitely more to come."
In the 60m hurdles, WSEH's Lawrence Clarke was eighth, clocking a PB of 7.69 in another top class line up that included a couple of Americans and was won by Aries Merritt.
