LAWRENCE Clarke has been awarded the George Hogflesh Memorial Trophy for being the Most Outstanding Great Britain Under-23 athlete.
The award, presented by the Amateur Athletic Association, comes in the wake of Clarke's gold medal in the 110 metre hurdles at the European Junior Championships.
Clarke's time in the race was a new GB U23 record and placed him fifth overall in the world rankings.
He also shot to fame by claiming bronze in Dehli in the Commonwealth Games recently in an English one, two, three and has been tipped for big things, as this recent award demonstrates.
