THE Windsor, Slough, Eton & Hounslow young athletes impressed at the second Apex Sports Chiltern Cross Country League Series in Luton on Saturday.

Despite missing key athletes, the men's under-17s of Nathan Ditton, Alex Goodall, newcomer Khlaed Al Abraidy, Zac Curran and Gari Brown finsihed second.

The ladies of the same age finished third with Maryse Haynes, Naomi Barbour, Alyssa Spitzer and Hannah Barefield impressing.

The boys under-15s of Ricky Harvie (second), Callum Todd (third), Ben Bradley and James Porter claimed third overall.

Gus Cockle (second), George Gathercole, Giles Robinson and Tom Coe helped the WSEH under-13 boys to a fine second place.

The girls under-13s also put in a top display to finsih second thanks to the returning Becca Croft, Eloise Milbourne, Kathryn Ditton and Gemma Burgin.

Nine-year-old Eugenie Cockle led the charge for the girls under-11s with a third place to help them to second overall, well backed up by Alex Barbour, Anna Croft and Harriet Daniels.
