THE East Berkshire Football League will have at least six member clubs in round two of the Berks & Bucks Intermediate Cup this season.

Premier Division side FC Beaconsfield won 2-1 away at Risborough Rangers Reserves from Hellenic Division Two East.

Slough Heating Laurencians got the better of Britwell 5-3 in an all-EBFL first round tie. Henry Bailey bagged a hat-trick, with Ricky Pelham and Chris Perks also on the scoresheet at the Polish Club.

AFC Crowthorne are a welcome addition to the Premier Division this season and the Crows continued to impress with a 5-1 win away at Mortimer Reserves.

Alex Hills bagged a brace, with the other goals coming from Joe Henry, Connor Banks and an own goal.

Old Windsor travelled to Kedermister Park to take on Langley Reserves in another all-EBFL tie and were rewarded with a 5-1 victory.

A single goal from Ted Edmunds was enough for Division One side Signcraft to stun Chalvey Sports Reserves at the Recreation Ground, while Stoke Poges Saints were awarded a walkover win at South Reading.

Amongst the EBFL clubs to be beaten in the first round were Langley Galaxy, who after a 0-0 draw in 90 minutes, lost 3-1 on penalties at home to Hurst.

Robertswood went down 4-2 at Chalfont Wasps, while Iver Heath Village were beaten 5-3 on penalties after a 2-2 home draw with Marlow United Reserves.

New members Berks Elite are still searching for a first win this season after a heavy 8-0 defeat at home to Finchampstead.
