MAIDENHEAD made it three wins on the bounce in the South West Premier after a record-breaking 70-26 victory over Weston-super-Mare on Saturday.

Maidenhead scored 10 tries that were all converted by Ed Keohane in a first-ever league win against Weston at Braywick Park.

Weston arrived off the back of four successive wins but they were sliced open by Maidenhead in a memorable day for their supporters.

The home side led 28-7 at the half-time interval thanks to tries from winger Scott Prince, Sam Hallett and flanker Will Cadden, while James Mackay converted after Ramaz Rokhadze touched down for Weston.

Prince and Jaryd Robinson crossed the whitewash three minutes after the break to extend the advantage to 42-7, before Matt Watkins responded for the visitors though Mackay missed the conversion.

Maidenhead centre Alex French then touched down and Hallet recorded another before Mike Hocking crossed for Weston. Mackay booted the extras and the visitors trailed 56-19 with 20 minutes still to play.

Cole got himself on the try-scoring list and Cadden was in the right place to bag the 10th and final touch down for the home side.

However, their was still time for Weston to secure a losing bonus point as Robbie Mackay crossed over and James Mackay was on target with the conversion.

The win means Maidenhead have moved up to fourth position in the league table ahead of a trip to fifth-paced Cleve this Saturday.

Windsor RFC

WINDSOR recorded a fifth consecutive win in Southern Counties North this season with a 22-0 victory over Wallingford at Home Park.

The win has moved them up to third position in the league table ahead of a trip to ninth-placed High Wycombe this Saturday.

Drifters RFC

DRIFTERS are still searching for their first win in Southern Counties North this season after a 74-5 defeat at home to Reading on Saturday.

Bottom of the table and with only two points to their name, Drifters make the short journey to top of the table Beaconsfield this Saturday.
