Burnham player Raja Rehman has been banned from cricket for the rest of the year, as well as the early part of the 2016 season.
He was found guilty of 'verbal abuse, physical threats and attempts at physical assault of another player' during the Home Counties Premier League derby with Slough.
Following the game Burnham banned the player themselves and the HCPL added another 10 games to Rehman's punishment, with four of them suspended.
The action taken by the club was described as 'exemplary and much appreciated' by David Burden, chairman of the HCPL disciplinary committee.
Burnham captain Harveer Gandam and his also received an official caution for failing to control their players and their general behaviour.
Slough's Shahid Yousef, who played in the game against Burnham in July, received a one-match suspended ban for his 'response to verbal and physical threats made towards him by another player.'
Burnham beat Slough by two wickets in a low-scoring game at Upton Court Road.
