ROAD CLOSURES: Olympic surprise in store for Windsor tonight

WINDSOR town centre will host a mystery event tonight to celebrate the first Olympic medal ceremonies due at Eton Dorney today.

The public are encouraged to line the streets in Windsor, but council chiefs are keeping tight lipped as to what to expect.

The below road closures will be in place from 8pm-midnight and will be repeated each night until Saturday as the event is repeated every evening.

The entire length of High Street, Castle Hill and St Albans Street will be closed.

Partial road closures will be in place in Sheet Street, between Victoria Street and High Street, Thames Street, between High Street and Datchet Road, River Street, between Thames Avenue and Thames Street, and Peascod Street, between High Street and William Street.

There will also be parking suspensions in Thames Street and High Street from 7pm-midnight.
