A POPULAR restaurant celebrated 25 years in the business with a buffet for loyal customers - including the town's former mayor.
Shamsul Shelim, owner of Indian restaurant Viceroy of Windsor, in St Leonard's Road, put on a food feast for more than 250 customers on Tuesday.
One of the restaurant's biggest fans, Cllr Asghar Majeed, also attended the do after handing over the mayoral reins to Cllr Colin Rayner, earlier in the evening.
Cllr Majeed said: "To be in business 25 years is a great achievement.
"Viceroy really gets involved in the community and have been fantastic supporters of my charity work as mayor." He added: "It really is a wonderful place to eat and let's hope we will be doing so for another 25 years to come."
Among the councillors tucking in to the celebratory food were Phill Bicknell, Jesse Grey and George Bathurst.
A proud Mr Shelim added: "I would just like to say thanks to everyone who has come to celebrate this evening and for everyone who has been coming for the past 25 years."
