PRIMARY school pupils were left devastated when a sentimental sculpture was stolen.
The wooden sculpture (pictured above), around 80cm tall and 35cm wide, with ERIC carved into it, was taken from Hilltop First School, Windsor, between 6pm on Wednesday and 7am yesterday morning (Thursday).
Liz Clark, headteacher at the school, in Clewer Hill Road, said: "ERIC was very special to the children and we just want to get him back."
The human-shaped sculpture, which does not have legs or arms and has one eye carved into the middle of the head, was given to the school by educational company, Thrift, last year to encourage learning through experience.
