THE pouring rain has damp ground has forced Royal Windsor Horse Show organisers to close its car parks.
The football and rugby pitches in Home Park, off the B470 King Edward VII Avenue, are being used for visitors to the show to park in but the ground is too badly damaged to continue to allow visitors to use it.
A spokeswoman for show said: "We have closed the car park temporarily.
"We hope to get the car park open as usual as soon as possible."
Parking stewards are sending visitors to the council's public car parks.
Despite the bad weather, the show itself, in its second day, is continuing to go ahead.
