PUPILS at seven Royal Borough secondary schools are learning about the dangers of binge drinking through a play.

Solomon Theatre Company is performing Last Orders to Year 9 pupils, in which they highlight the challenges some teenagers face when dealing with pressure from friends to drink.

After the performance, workshops are held on themes including illegally buying alcohol and anti-social behaviour.

Richard Cardigan, assistant headteacher at Windsor Boys' School in Maidenhead Road, said: "We believe it is essential for our Year 9 boys to have the opportunity to spend four hours exploring the issues surrounding alcohol and to consider the significant risks involved."
