A YOUNG film-maker has been commissioned to present a series of films showcasing Windsor.
Sam Taylor, 18, is studying a BTEC Extended Diploma in media at East Berkshire College's Windsor campus, St Leonard's Road, and wowed judges from Accommodation Windsor with his short film audition.
Sam has been awarded £250 and a contract worth £2,000 to produce further films on the company's short-let apartments and houses. The creative teenager from Cookham said: "I wanted to win so much because the opportunity to be commissioned to make a series of films for the company was just too great a prize to miss. I decided to focus on Windsor as a lifestyle and gave my video a cinematic look."
Nigel Holder, managing director of Accommodation Windsor in Alma Road, said: "After vigorously viewing all of the submissions, it quickly became apparent that Sam's video was the clear winner. It exceeded our expectations and really does show Windsor at its finest."
