FOSTER families in the Royal Borough will receive a free annual membership to Legoland Windsor.
The incentive, which is being offered to the 50 foster families, is part of a council initiative to support and value people's contribution to providing the best possible care to children.
Councillor Christine Bateson, chairwoman of the Royal Borough's corporate parenting forum, came up with the idea and said: "In these difficult economic times it is not always easy for families to afford to take day trips to theme parks - and it is particularly difficult for foster carers who also have children of their own to consider in planning family days out."
Geoff Spooner, operations director at Legoland, said: "We are delighted to be working with the Royal Borough on this initiative and to be able to provide this fantastic offer to its foster families."
