DANIEL department store has been awarded Independent Toy Retailer Of The Year at a ceremony in London.
The Toy Industry Awards, organised by the British Toy & Hobby Association with the Toy Retailers Association (TRA), were presented at Banqueting House, Whitehall, last month.
The 111-year-old Windsor-based store was recognised alongside national chains Hasbro, the Entertainer and Bentalls and management were delighted with the recognition.
Warren Du Preez, toy manager at Daniel, said: "The presentation of this award reflects the exceptional range, quality and service that our toy department offers.
"We would like to say a huge thank you to all our staff who have worked incredibly hard throughout the year to create an outstanding customer experience."
Alan Simpson, chairman of the TRA, said: "Businesses not only need cash flow but profits in order to survive, and children need toys for play, for life and for learning."
