Kit off outside the castle for a good cause
IT was a case of 'We'll spare your modesty, Ma'am' when businessmen stripped off in the Queen's back garden at Windsor for a cheeky charity calendar shoot.
Organisers had to seek permission from the Crown Estate before the cover-shot picture for the money-spinning fund-raiser could take place at the Long Walk.
Co-ordinator Rosanna Goswell explained: "I was on a career break and I had been saying to my hairdresser that I want to get involved in charity work to make use of the time. He suggested it and I thought what a great idea. I enlisted the help of a couple of other women and it went from there." Other photos for the calendar were taken at the scantily-clad lads' business premises by photographer Nikki Hill, with help from Zoe Mott and Dee Davis. The locations included Hardings Estate Agents, Martyn Crossley Florist and Cinnamon Cafe.
All proceeds from the calendar will be split 50/50 between Thames Hospicecare and The Parapet Breast Cancer Clinic in Windsor. It will be launched on Friday next week at the Firestation for Arts and Culture, Windsor at 7.30pm.
It will also be available from Cinnamon Cafe, Cocoa Bean, Eye Windsor, Huttons, John Goodwin, Martyn Crossley, Michael Chell, Smith and Cullen, Rules and The Bike Company. It can be ordered at www.
