THE wheels will be set in motion as Windsor's popular summer attraction opens on Thursday (02/01) along with a brand new land train.

The Royal Windsor Wheel in Alexandra Gardens offers views of the Castle battlements, River Thames and even Wembley Stadium.

The land train will provide a service for tourists, shoppers and less able visitors from the Coach Park, up to the Castle entrance and town centre shopping area.

The train seats up to 72 passengers in three carriages, including access for one wheelchair, and has been specially designed for use on the road.

Following its success last year with over 200,000 visitors, the wheel will be in place for an extended period until November.

It will be open daily from 10am to 10pm where visitors can also enjoy a glass of Pimms or Champagne at the licensed Café Bar and take home a photo souvenir of their flight.

Advance bookings can be made at www.royalwindsorwheel.com or www.royalwindsorlandtrain.com

can be booked in person at the wheel or train.
