Children's exploring skills will be tested at Windsor Yards (formerly King Edward Court) on Saturday afternoon thanks to an interactive map trail.

While following the map the children will meet storytellers who will share the history of the town with them.

Windsor Yards centre manager Robert Gramson said: “We recently installed an illustrated map of Windsor that shows many of the important landmarks in and around the town in a fun and engaging way.

“Children taking part will be able to find hidden sections of the map in select stores throughout Windsor Yards. We’ll have a number of special hosts that will be telling their favourite stories about the town – helping children to learn about the fantastic history of Windsor.

“With the royal wedding coming ever closer it’s a great way for those taking part to learn about the importance of the town to the royal family and more. As a key part of the community, it’s important to us that we host events like this and I’m looking forward to seeing plenty of smiling, happy faces throughout the day.”

The free activity runs from 11am to 4pm.
