Amir of Kuwait arrives in Windsor on first state visit

A 41-GUN Salute welcomed the Amir of Kuwait to the town today.
The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh and The Prince of Wales met the Amir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, at Windsor Castle after a procession through the town.
The procession included the 1st Battalion Irish Guards, The Queen's Colour, the Drums and Pipes of the Battalion and the Band of the Regiment, who formed a Guard of Honour and mounted in the Quadrangle of the castle.
