Call for support for libraries in the Royal Borough

VOLUNTEERS are being sought to help shape the future of libraries in the area.
The Friends Of The Royal Borough Of Windsor And Maidenhead Libraries is looking for volunteers to help fundraise and organise promotional activities.
Councillor Simon Dudley, Royal Borough cabinet member for adult and community services, said: "We have a thriving library service and are continually looking to improve what we offer.
"This initiative is very much in the spirit of the Big Society and volunteers can make a huge contribution to this improvement."
Meetings for potential volunteers will take place at Maidenhead Library, in St Ives Road, today (Wednesday), at 7pm and at Windsor Library, in Bachelors Acre, tomorrow (Thursday) at 2pm.
