A LARGE quantity of cigarettes were discovered in a car in Wraysbury after a robbery at a service station.
Armed police were led to Feathers Lane after four men approached a lorry driver at a Total petrol station in Chertsey Road, Staines at around 9.50am today.
They threatened the driver with a fire extinguisher before making off with a large quantity of cigarettes, valued at around £10,000, in what was believed to be a dark grey BMW.
Enquiries led police to Feathers Lane where the car and an unspecified amount of cigarettes were found.
Police had a report of a sighting of what was believed to be a firearm, but this has not been confirmed, and the delivery driver was not threatened at any time with a firearm.
