A BUDDING actress from Windsor is bidding to be the face of this summer's Retro Festival and is calling on the public to back her campaign.

Jess Hunter, 21, is a born and bred Windsorian and having met the festival organisers she was invited to enter the glamorous pin-up competition.

The blonde bombshell is one of 41 girls to enter and is currently tied neck and neck with north east-based Frankii Wilde.

Jess is now appealing to the Windsor public to get behind her campaign by logging on to the Facebook page and 'liking' the photo.

She told The Observer: "It is a really good way to get my face out there and I have been overwhelmed with the reaction I have received. I really hope people keep logging on to vote for my picture."

The Retro Festival takes place at White Waltham Airfield, in Maidenhead, on August 10 to 12 and will feature three live music and entertainment stages.

Hundreds of classic and vintage cars, caravans, military vehicles and steam engines.

Festival founder David Read said: "Experience has taught us that there is a huge groundswell of positivity for vintage and we are keen to deliver an event that appeals to everyone.

The festival will hopefully provide people with a bit of escapism, an opportunity to dress up, get away from it all and have some fun."
