A great time scouting about in the snow

A GROUP of 20 young scouts braved the cold and the snow on Saturday to trek six miles.
The 12th Windsor Scouts basked in the glorious sunshine while making their way from their headquarters in Clewer, through Windsor Great Park, and up to The Copper Horse.
The boys tucked in to a packed lunch at the popular landmark before taking The Long Walk home and their efforts will go towards a hiking badge.
Scout leader David Shaw said: "It was a fantastic experience and with the snow and the sunshine it made for a beautiful setting.
"It was a brilliant introduction to walking in the Great Park and we got them to use a map and think about where they were."
The group are currently looking for a new assistant leader, to help the group develop further.
Mr Shaw added: "The parents that came along to help enjoyed it too and this is a great opportunity to get involved."
