TWO day centres for people with dementia are holding open days this weekend.

Crossroads Care gives family carers looking for a break the chance to leave their relatives in qualified care and the charity has two centres in the Royal Borough.

The Oakbridge Centre, in Imperial Road, Windsor will be open from 10.30am-12.30pm on Friday and the Boyn Grove Community Centre, in Courthouse Road, Maidenhead is open from the same time on Sunday.

Tony Matthews, Crossroads' chairman, said: "Both these centres are new and purpose-built, and they offer an enjoyable day out for those with dementia, and time off at weekends for their carers."
