SNOW is forecast to return to the region this evening - with a risk of up to 10 cm of snowfall.

The snow is expected to travel down from parts of east England this evening before hitting the region through the night.

Snowfall of 1-5cm is likely with a risk of 10cm in the worst affected regions.

The public have been warned to be aware that, as a result, there could be some disruption to travel.
