FIREFIGHTERS had to cut a driver out of his car after he collided with a tree this morning.

A Renault Clio careered off Forest Green Road, in Fifield, and hit a tree at around 6.45am but the man is not believed to have life threatening injuries.

Police closed the road until 9.05am to ensure emergency vehicles, including fire crews from Windsor and Slough, could gain access to the scene.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
