THE final preparations are being made for biggest and best Littlewick Show.

More than 12,000 people are expected to turn up for the 76th annual family day out in Ascot Road, Braywick on Bank Holiday Monday to enjoy the contests, stalls, games and much more.

Littlewick Green Show Society secretary Valerie Bosley said: "The organisers feel it will be the biggest and best ever. This is the area's largest one-day show and often attracts a crowd of 12,000 people. The Littlewick show is a family day out with something for everyone."

Visitors will be amazed at the collection of more than 300 vintage cars, view expertly grow produce and plants in the horticultural show and test themselves by entering one of the competitions including the photographic show, children's handicrafts, dog show, flower arranging and a four hour horse show.

Miss Bosley added: "For those who do not know about entering, it is not too late. If you've left your entry to the last minute show organisers will be present in the largest marquee on the show field on Saturday from 2-4pm. They will be only too willing to explain the joys of competing."

There will also be ferret racing, a Punch and Judy show, circus entertainers for the children and inflatable obstacles and castles. For the adults there will be a selection of stalls and entertainment from Waltham St Lawrence Silver Band, Maidenhead Concert Band and Razzmajazz Jazz Band.
