TIME is running out for budding photographers to deliver the perfect festive snap and win a great prize.

Thames Hospicecare in partnership with The Observer has been searching for the perfect seasonal, wintry scene to become next year's official Christmas card.

Entries have been flooding in and the last chance for photographers to submit their masterpieces will be Friday, March 5.

Retail director at Thames Hospicecare, Ros White said: "We're in the final days of the competition, and whilst we have some fantastic photos so far, it would be great to see a final rush of entries featuring those famous Windsor landmarks.

"You don't have to be a professional photographer to take part, just simply have an idea as to what would make a great local Windsor Christmas card.

"The winner will have their photo on this year's official Thames Hospicecare Christmas card. The card will be sold later in the year in the Hospice's shops to raise money for Thames Hospicecare. So if you haven't yet entered don't delay any longer, we would love to receive your entry."

Last year Michelle Gregory's winning entry 'Carols On The Hill' featured the Band of the Life Guards and was on sale in all of the Hospice's 16 shops.

Both black and white and colour photographs will be accepted and a maximum of three photos may be submitted, but they must be your own.

Entries can be submitted online by going to www.royalboroughobserver.co.uk/hospice, sloughobserver.co.uk/hospice or by completing the entry form and submitting your photo by post.
