A ROAD was closed earlier this afternoon after two vehicles collided.

Firefighters were called to Winkfield Road, Windsor at around 1.30pm today (Tuesday) after a Volkswagen Golf and Ford van crashed into each other.

Police closed the road for around half an hour as firemen made the scene safe.

Green Watch Crew Manager, Chris Hastings said: " We made sure the scene was safe and disconencted both the vehicles batteries."

Both drivers were thought to have minor injuries which were treated by paramedics at the scene.
