Suspicious death launches murder investigation

ONE man has been arrested after an unexplained death in Maidenhead.

Thames Valley Police were called to Moorbridge Road by paramedics who had declared a man dead shortly after 7pm last night.

A 29-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.

Det Supt Rob Mason said: "At this time the man's death is being treated as unexplained and an investigation has been launched into the circumstances around his death.

"As part of this investigation we arrested a 29-year-old man who was at the address on suspicion of murder and he is currently in police custody helping officers with our enquiries."

The dead man has not been identified.
