WOODLANDS Park Road was closed last night after a crash involving two cars and a bus.

Two crews from Maidenhead and a rescue support team from Slough rushed to the scene in Woodlands Park Road, Maidenhead, at 6.20pm amid reports at least one person was trapped.

When the Maidenhead crew arrived on the scene however, police and paramedics had already secured the safety of all involved.

Firefighter Simmons said: "The bus was halfway up a bank so we had to make it safe on arrival.

"We then made the other vehicles safe and assisted police and paramedics."

Firefighters left the scene at around 9.15pm and one driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
