TRIBUTES have been paid to a man from Maidenhead who was gunned down in a bar in Texas.

British tourist Thomas Reeve, 28 was killed when shots were fired at numerous drinkers at the Spotted Pony Lounge in Amarillo on Thursday.

National newspaper reports suggest that Mr Reeves had only arrived in the town just a few hours before the shooting.

In a statement given to The Times by Mr Reeves' family he was described as

"a much loved son, brother and father who will be missed by the whole family and very many friends."
