ROAD closures will be in place in Maidenhead.

Part of the High Street - from its junction with Bridge Avenue to its junction with St Ives Road - will be closed from 6am on Monday until 7pm on Friday October 30 for essential maintenance work.

The temporary closure is to allow contractors Hope and Clay Construction to carry out remedial sewer works on behalf of Thames Water.

Advance warning signs are in place advising motorists of the closure. The alternative route for vehicles will be via Bridge Street, Forlease Road and York Road.

For further information contact Julian Mann of Hope and Clay Construction on 01635 268502.
