Four men arrested after man injured by gang

FOUR men have been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm after a man was brutally beaten up by a gang.

Police arrested three 19-year-olds as well as an 18-year-old in connection with the fight that took place at a busy garage.

The victim of the attack was left with serious head and facial injuries including a fractured cheekbone when he was kicked and punched at the Murco Petrol Station in Cookham Road, Maidenhead on Thursday, last week. (September 24)

The man who is in his 20s was taken to hospital but discharged later the same day.

A police spokesman said the victim was now recovering at home but would need facial surgery to repair his damaged cheek.

All four men have now been bailed until the end of October pending further inquiries.
