A CCTV image of a man has been released by police in an appeal for information following a burglary in Maidenhead.

Thames Valley Police is searching for information after a laptop, a holdall with wheels and cash were stolen from a house in Palmers Close on Friday, June 17.

The items were taken between 12pm and 1pm and officers would like to speak to the man in the CCTV image as they believe he may have information that can help them with the investigation.

Anyone with information can call PC Andrew Corbett, based at Local CID at Maidenhead police station, on the non-emergency police number 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of burglary: a 37-year-old from Maidenhead and a 30-year-old from Reading. Both men have been bailed until August 8.
