Children at Old Windsor's St Peter's Middle School celebrated their harvest festival last Wednesday.

They were joined by Reverend Adel Shokralla, from the village's St Peter and St Andrew churches.

The children learned the Dum Dum thanksgiving song from Mr Shokralla and later all their contributions were taken to the church by villager Emma Wood, who is personal assistant to head teacher Andy Snipp.

They formed a major part in Sunday's harvest service at the church, where worshippers added contributions of their own.

The food was then taken to the headquarters of Windsor Foodshare in the Baptist Church, Smiths Lane from where it will be distributed to families in need.
