Firefighters are STILL working flat out every day across Slough and Windsor to put out small blazes caused by bonfires - despite repeated warnings to people to be careful.
Langley firefighters were called out again last night - most seriously to Old Ferry Road, Wraysbury where a bonfire got out of control, damaging panel fencing and almost enveloping a large garage.
Crew manager David Chambers repeated the warning not to risk lighting bonfires this week, saying: "Bonfires can spread very quickly in current dry conditions."
