Maidenhead's Berkshire College of Agriculture (BCA) has teamed up with Windsor's Thames Hospice to offer free use of its beautiful 400 acre-estate for the fund raising Bubble Rush.

The bubble-filled family fun run with a difference will take place on Saturday, September 15, from 10am.

Teams from BCA and Thames Hospice invite supporters of the hospice to join them on a 2.5k or 5k route.

Canons will blast runners with coloured foam as they walk, skip, run or even hop this colourful course.

Families are encouraged to take part and children will get the chance to meet mascot Finn the Fish. With free use of the college’s grounds, every penny raised through the Bubble Rush will help Thames Hospice continue to provide local people with quality of life until the end of life.

Alison Evans, community and events fundraising Manager at Thames Hospice, said: “We are really excited to be bringing the Bubble Rush back to Berkshire and can’t thank BCA enough for their generous support. Teams from BCA and Thames Hospice have signed up to take on the blizzard of bubbles, will you? It’s going to be incredi-bubble!”

Last year more than 900 bubblers took part and spaces are limited.

Everyone who enters receives a Bubble Rush T-shirt and medal. Registration costs £25 for adults and £10 for Children (5 - 15 years), under 4s go free. Sign up at www.thameshospice.org.uk/bubblerus
