A man has been charged with multiple offences including possession of a knife in a public place and threats to kill, following a number of incidents in the Royal Borough on Saturday March 31.
Thames Valley Police said it had charged Kevin Jones, 36, of Northumbria Road, Maidenhead with possessing a knife/blade in a public place, possessing an offensive weapon in a public place, one count of threats to kill, two counts of criminal damage, using threatening, abusive or insulting language, affray, theft from a motor vehicle, attempted robbery and racially aggravated public order.
The charges are in connection with 'incidents' which occurred in Northumbria Road, Wessex Way and Moorside Close, Maidenhead on March 31, a spokesman said.
Jones has been remanded in custody to appear at Reading Crown Court on May 7.
