Award winning contemporary wildlife painter Robert Oxley will be making a special appearance at the Castle Fine Art gallery in Windsor on Saturday to showcase his latest collection, Instinct.

He will be there in person between 1pm and 3pm with the collection on display for a week.

Mr Oxley has received a commendation from the esteemed BBC Wildlife Artist of the Year panel - and was a finalist in Castle Fine Art’s IN:SIGHT campaign, which seeks out the UK’s newest emerging artistic talent.

His works have a psychedelic feel, using zig-zag edges and bold dripping paint.

He said: “After all of the time and energy that went into Instinct I can’t wait to share the collection at the Windsor gallery and see the response it evokes from viewers.

“I wanted to create something loose and expressionistic yet controlled and detailed.”

Daniel Keogh, gallery manager at Castle Fine Art, Windsor, said: “Robert’s work is unlike anything we have ever had on display before and it will be interesting to hear all about the inspiration behind his collection.”

Visitors wishing to attend the event and meet the artist should contact the gallery team to be added to the guest list: email or phone 01753 840404.
