More than 2,000 leaflets are being delivered to households in Dedworth and Clewer promoting community safety drop in sessions.

The sessions at Dedworth library and the Spencer Denney Centre in Park Corner are manned by community wardens and police officers, who can deal with enquiries ranging from fly tipping to anti-social behaviour.

Last year, a number of similar events were arranged by Cllr Ed Wilson (Clewer South). This year he was joined by council colleagues and local volunteers delivering the leaflets across Clewer and Dedworth this week.

Cllr Wilson said: “We started these drop in sessions last year and residents have found them useful. They give people a chance to speak to community wardens and the police in person and in confidence. I would encourage anyone who wants to report or discuss anti-social behaviour, littering, dog fouling etc to make use of this service- it’s free, confidential and local."

The drop in sessions at the Spencer Denney Centre, Park Corner are on Monday, March 19, April 23 and May 14 at 8pm - at Dedworth library in Smiths Lane on Tuesday, March 13, Wednesday, April 11 and Tuesday, May 15 2.30pm to 3.30pm.
