POWER CUTS have affected Maidenhead following the heavy winds last night.
Some Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE) customers were without power for over nine hours over the night.
A spokeswoman for SSE said: "We were first alerted to the power cut at 11.40pm last night. 300 customers were affected. Everyone was back on by 9.30 this morning - although not everyone was waiting that long, as power was restored in stages.
"The cut was caused by the adverse weather last night, which lead to overhead line damage."
