A large tree that stalled traffic this morning after falling across Braywick Road, near Maidenhead, has now been removed.
A spokesperson for the Royal Borough said the tree was moved from the road shortly after 12pm.
The affected carriageway is the one leading into Maidenhead and drivers had been advised to find alternative routes if necessary.
A team from the Royal Borough had removed the tree under police supervision.
